Welcome!

I’m really proud of the courses I’ve developed over the last 20 years — because they’re exactly what I wish I’d had when I first started keeping alpacas.

Like many new owners, I made my share of husbandry mistakes. But I learned — step by step — how to keep my herd healthy and thriving. That journey took me from reading every book I could find, back to university, and into research projects when hardly anyone in the UK was studying camelid parasites.

Now I want to share that hard-won knowledge with you.

Whether you’re completely new to parasite testing or have been analysing your own samples for years, you’ll find something here to build your confidence and deepen your understanding.

You might be looking for:

  • Practical advice on lab equipment and testing techniques

  • Guidance on which parasite tests or flotation solutions to use

  • A refresher to confirm you’re on the right track

  • Or the chance to take full control of your herd health with same-day, reliable results

You’ll find free downloads, videos, PDF checklists, online courses, face-to-face coaching in my lab — and even the occasional fun quiz!
